L’utilisation des réseaux informatiques, dans un cadre pédagogique d’enseignement ou de formation, permet de mailler l’accès aux connaissances et aux compétences. C’est le cas des formations ouvertes à distance (FOAD). Les outils qu’elles intègrent permettent-ils une meilleure communication entre les apprenants ? Sont-ils suffisants pour créer une communauté d’apprenants ? Cette contribution montre certaines facettes de ce qui se tisse dans le cadre de formations ouvertes et à distance et pose la question de l’utilisation des réseaux sociaux en formation à distance. The use of computer networks, in a pedagogical framework of education or training, makes it possible to mesh access to knowledge and skills. This is the case of Open and Distance Learning (ODL). Do the tools they integrate allow for better communication between learners? Are they sufficient to create a community of learners? Le caractère composite du terme, qui peut référer tant au vivant humain qu’au sujet, en complique les usages. Nous proposons ici d’explorer le fondement conceptuel d’un lien entre santé et autonomie des individus, à partir du concept canguilhémien de normativité, en faisant l’hypothèse qu’émerge, dans la pensée de G. Canguilhem, un sens de l’autonomie dont l’originalité réside dans le fait qu’elle est pensée d’abord du point de vue du vivant. Nous proposons de montrer que la notion de latitude des normes de la vie et du comportement, invoquée par Canguilhem pour caractériser la santé, peut s’étendre au-delà du champ de la normativité vitale et devenir l’indice d’une conception holiste de la santé dans laquelle il est possible de penser ensemble santé et autonomie. Autonomy has become a key notion in medical practice and represents a norm both for medical decision and for healthcare. The polysemy of the concept of autonomy—referring to the living human being as well as the subject—complicates its uses. Here, we propose to explore the conceptual basis of the relation between health and autonomy, based on the “canguilhemien” concept of normativity. We make the hypothesis of the emergence of a “new” sense of autonomy, firstly thought in a life perspective. We propose to think the notion of “latitude of norms of life and behaviour” invoked by Canguilhem to characterize the health.
