This article is an overview of the adaptation process that we followed in order to implement the Neurolinguistic Approach to a non-intensive French language program in a Japanese university. Après une rapide présentation du dispositif et de son contexte de création, nous décrirons dans une première partie, les besoins identifiés en amont sur le terrain et les orientations retenues pour y répondre. Puis, dans une seconde partie, nous montrerons en quoi ces besoins ont motivé les choix méthodologiques et pédagogiques qui caractérisent ce dispositif d’enseignement-apprentissage du français et d’accompagnement vers la lecture-écriture du public allophone. Nous évoquerons enfin, dans une troisième partie, les adaptations du dispositif et les solutions trouvées pour réagir au mieux à l’urgence des crises sanitaire et humanitaire traversées ces dernières années. This article provides reflective feedback about the design and dissemination of the educational tool “Les voisins du 12 bis”. Based on the radio series of the same name, it was designed originally in response to the refugee crisis in 2015. In the first part of our presentation, we will quickly sketch the components of the podcast-based teaching program and the context in which it was created. We will then describe the needs that were identified beforehand and the options that we adopted. We will also show how these needs have motivated the methodological and pedagogical choices that ground the activities to support French as a foreign language but also the development of reading and writing skills.
