Le premier, structuraliste, fait évoluer la langue de façon interne et n´a guère de place pour la norme. Le second, une lecture politique de rapports entre une élite et des locuteurs dominés, voit la norme évoluer en fonction des conjonctions historiques entre simplification et complexification. Le troisième cadre donne aux locuteurs la faculté de moduler l´usage par le biais de la « main invisible » : sous l´influence de leurs représentations langagières, ils perpétuent ou enfreignent les normes sans intentionnalité à son égard. The contribution examines the history of the German language standard following three theoretical frameworks. The first, a structuralist, develops the language internally and has little room for the standard. The second, a political reading of relations between an elite and dominated speakers, sees the norm evolve according to historical conjunctions between simplification and complexity. The third framework gives the speakers themselves the faculty to modulate the usage through the "invisible hand": under the influence of their linguistic representations they perpetuate or violate the norms without intentionality towards it. Der Beitrag untersucht die Geschichte des deutschen Sprachstandards nach drei theoretischen Ansätzen. Der erste, ein strukturalistischer, lässt die Sprache sich intern entwickeln und hat wenig Platz für den Standard. Der zweite, eine politische Lesart der Beziehungen zwischen einer Elite und dominierten Sprechern, sieht Normen je nach historischem Zusammenhang zwischen Vereinfachung und Komplexität entstehen.
